Trainers’ Training Programme On “Improved Production Technology for Quality Jute Fibre Production” for Jharkhand Officials

ICAR-CRIJAF organized three trainers’ training programme of two-day each on ‘Improved Production Technology for Quality Jute Fibre Production’ during 17-25 April, 2023 at ICAR-Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibres, Nilganj, Barrackpore for the 60 JSLPS (Jharkhand State Livelihood Professional Society) officials from Pakur and Sahibganj districts of Jharkhand working under Jute-ICARE project.

The objective of this training is to improve the knowledge and skill of farmers, farm women and Govt. officials for improved scientific jute cultivation in the State of Jharkhand.

Dr. D. P. Patra, former M. D., IFFCO and member Fertilizer Association of India was the Chief Guest of the valedictory programme of the third trainers’ training programme on 25th April 2023.
Dr. Gouranga Kar, Director, ICAR-CRIJAF, suggested the ways to get higher jute fibre yield and increased profitability from jute farming in the Jharkhand state by utilizing the advance technical knowledge.
