Webshop on “All India Fodder Production Officers: Kharif - 2022” organized

The Webshop on “All India Fodder Production Officers: Kharif - 2022” was organized by the ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh from 28^th to 30^th June, 2022.

Inaugurating the Webshop, Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi, highlighted the fodder technologies developed by the Institute and its need for popularizing the forage technologies to enhance the farmer’s income & increase productivity of livestock. Dr. Chander also urged the participants to become ICAR-IGFRI Ambassadors in the technologies’ dissemination.

The Webshop organized as a part of the National Initiative for Accelerating Fodder Technology Adoption (NIAFTA) was aimed at disseminating the advances in the fodder production and conservation technologies of Kharif Fodder Crops.

More than 155 participants from State Agricultural Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, State Department (Agriculture and Animal Husbandry), Forest Department and NGOs Officials participated in the Webshop.
