The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme for the Faculty Members, Extension Experts and Master Trainers of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur from 8th to 12th November, 2021.
In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Anupam Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur outlined the main objectives of the Faculty Development Programme that aims at enhancing the teaching, research, professionalism and administrative comprehensiveness to improve the overall educational environment.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad underlined the recent and innovative technology developments in teaching skills and abilities to be developed by the teaching faculty to cope up with the developments and demands in the frontier areas of agriculture & allied sectors. The importance of scientific communication being a major relevance in the research works was also stressed by Dr. Rao.
Earlier, Professor Ph. Ranjit Sharma, Director (Extension Education), Central Agricultural University delivered the welcome address.
The programme organized under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan registered participation by 40 participants from 13 Constituent Colleges, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Multi-Testing Centres and Vocational Training Centres of the Central Agricultural University, Imphal..
