Agripreneurship Development meet at IVRI

ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar organised an Agripreneurship Development meet here today.

Dr S A Patil, former director, IARI, former VC, UAS Dharwad, former Chairman, Krishi Mission (GoK) & member, Agril. Vision Group, GoK, delivered the lecture on “Entrepreneurship Development – Attracting Youth in Agriculture”.

The meet and lecture emphasized the importance of utilizing successful agripreneurs, their innovativeness and experiences in promoting modern agriculture and much importance to be given to reduce agricultural production costs by tapping potential institutional resources.

Earlier, Dr R K Singh, Director-cum-Vice-chancellor, IVRI briefed about the purpose of the event.

The event was attended by Scientists & faculty members of ICAR-IVRI, 45 farm entrepreneurs and 150 post-graduate students across the disciplines.
