Target Farmers & Target Media Approach - A Technology Delivery System by Scientists’-Farmers’ Linkage through Mass Media @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-National Research Centre on Banana,  initiated a Scientists’-Farmer’s Technology Delivery through a Regional Television Channel today.

With an aim for the technological backstopping for Banana farmers & other stakeholders and strengthening the R-E-F linkage, the Centre telecasted a comprehensive Programme on Banana Technologies through “Malarum Boomi” Agricultural Programme of Regional T.V. Channel - Makkal T.V.

The farmers were apprised about the different aspects of Banana Technologies from new varieties to the post harvest technologies. The programme was organized into six different modules with 11 Episodes.

The programme was organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
