Awareness Programme on “Balanced Use of Fertilizers” @ Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums, Ranchi, Jharkhand and the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Khunti jointly organized an Awareness Programme on “Balanced Use of Fertilizers”.

The various soil related topics, viz., role of soil testing in balanced use of fertilizers, judicious use of fertilizers using four-R(4-T) approach, importance of organic fertilizers, use of fertilizers in the transmission of nutrients to plants and drip irrigation for fertilizer use, etc., were discussed in the Webinar.

The main objective of the Webinar was to make the farmers aware about the Balanced Use of Fertilizers in the soil.

A total of 97 participants including 70 farmers, 10 students and 17 Institute Employees participated in the Kisan Goshthi organized the occasion.

The Webinar was organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
