Virtual Training-cum-Awareness Programme on Importance of Soil Testing for Soil Fertility Management organized

The Soil Testing Lab of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Karda, Washim, Maharashtra has organized  a Virtual Training Programme on "Importance of Soil Testing for Soil Fertility Management" today.

The Training-cum-Awareness Programme was a part of the "Bhumi Suposhan and Sanrakshan Abhiyan" being observed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare from 13^th April to 24^th July, 2021.

During the programme, the various aspects of soil testing techniques, viz., different soil testing methods, to determine various elements and methods or irrigation water testing were discussed.

The programme was aimed at sensitizing the farmers on enriching and conserving soil for higher yield for sustainable agriculture and livelihood security.

The programme registered participation by a total of 62 participants.
