Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, visits ICAR-NISA, Ranchi

ICAR-National Institute of Secondary Agriculture, Ranchi, had the honor of hosting Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR), during his official visit today.

Dr. Jat emphasized the vital role of secondary and subsidiary agriculture in the nation's development. He highlighted their potential to enhance rural livelihoods and strengthen the agricultural economy.

In his address, Dr. Jat recognized the institute’s efforts toward research excellence and urged increased collaboration with stakeholders.

Dr. Abhijit Kar, Director, ICAR-NISA, provided a comprehensive overview of the institute’s accomplishments, recent innovations, and future strategies.

The event commenced with the noble initiative “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam,” in which distinguished dignitaries participated in a plantation drive, symbolizing their commitment to environmental sustainability and maternal respect.

The visit concluded with an engaging interaction with the staff, fostering motivation, exchanging ideas, and aligning with the broader objectives of ICAR.
