Krishi Vigyan Kendra- NRC Mithun gets Best KVK Professional Award

Krishi Vigyan Kendra- NRC Mithun, Phek, Nagaland has undertaken many innovative programmes for the benefit of the backward and tribal farming community located in very remote areas of Phek district in the state of Nagaland. The KVK of Phek District has demonstrated the quality protein maize production programme successfully for the first time in North Eastern part of the country. In recognition of his works Dr R K Singh, Programme Coordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra- NRC Mithun, Phek, Nagaland has been awarded with “Best KVK Professional award” by Society of Extension Education, Agra in 5 th National Extension Education Congress 2009 held on 5-7 th March 2009 at C S Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.
