Dr. S. Ayyappan, Secretary, DARE and Director General, ICAR congratulated the outgoing graduates and motivated them to build-up confidence among themselves to face the challenges in agriculture field and serve the farming community. Dr. Ayyappan was delivering Chief Guest address during the First Convocation of University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur here today.
Every one of us will have to give utmost importance to agriculture by bringing prestige and profit to the farmers, he stressed. Dr. Ayyappan congratulated the University for achieving the ISO9001:2008 certification for its College of Agriculture, which is the first of its kind in the country by any agricultural college.
