“Interface Meeting for the Officials of Municipal Corporations & Municipalities of Telangana State and the Scientists of ICAR-NRC on Meat” organized

The ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad organized the “Interface Meeting for the Officials of Municipal Corporations & Municipalities of Telangana State and the Scientists of ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad” today.

In his address, Dr. N. Satyanarayana, Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration applauded the concept of P-MART and urged the Municipalities for utilizing the technology developed by the Centre.

Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NRC on Meat ensured of providing the possible help in establishing the hygienic Meat Production Facilities in the Municipalities.

The Portable Meat Production and Retailing Facility (P-MART) for Sheep and Goats developed by the Institute was discussed during the meeting.

The Meeting was aimed at discussing and promoting the hygienic meat production.

The Commissioners, Mayors and Municipal Chairpersons of Nizampet, Peerzadiguda, Badanpet, Bandlaguda Jagir, Boduppal, Medchal, Pochampally, Kompally, Narsing, Shamshabad and Manikonda participated in the Meeting.
