The ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad in collaboration with the Indian Meat Science Association (IMSA), National Association for Welfare of Animals and Research (NAWAR) and Society for Research on Listeria (SRL) jointly organized a National Webinar to celebrate the “World Zoonoses Day - 2021” today.
Dr. M.D. Gupte, Former Director, National Institute of Epidemiology, Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi delivered a Talk on “Anticipating Zoonoses Control through One Health Approach”.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad highlighted the importance of celebrating the World Zoonoses Day.
Over 134 participants comprising of Academician, Researchers, Retired Professors and Students from the Veterinary, Medical, Wildlife and Environment Institutes also participated in the Webinar.
The Webinar was organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
