The a-IDEA, ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with 15 ICAR Institutes today. The Institutes included ICAR-CICR, Nagpur; ICAR-MGIFRI, Motihari; ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi; ICAR-NDRI, Karnal; ICAR-IISS, Mau; ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad; ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana; ICAR-NRC on Yak, Dirang; ICAR-CCARI, Old Goa; ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair; ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi; ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi; ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai; ICAR-NRC Pomegranate, Sholapur and ICAR-CMFRI, Kochi.
Dr. R.C. Agrawal, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Education), ICAR highlighted the importance of technical mentoring support by the NARES System for the Start-Ups and Entrepreneurs. The need of Sensitization Programme on EDP among the Students of agriculture and allied sectors was also stressed by the DDG.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad apprised the participants about the existing Model of Incubation System at a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad.
Dr. G. Venkateswarlu, Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad underlined the need of MoA with the ICAR Institutes to utilize the wet lab facilities besides, mentoring to early stage Start-Ups.
Dr. Senthil Vinayagam, C.E.O., a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad was also present on the occasion.
