ICAR–National Research Centre on Mithun (NRCM) actively participated in the Regional Agri Fair organized by the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, at the College of Agriculture, Kyrdumkulai, Meghalaya, from 17–19 November 2025.
During the three-day event, ICAR–NRCM showcased its key technologies, major research accomplishments, and a diverse range of value-added mithun products. The stall drew significant attention from dignitaries, scientists, students, farmers, and other stakeholders, who appreciated the Centre’s contributions to mithun research and its impact on livelihood development.
ICAR–NRCM’s participation strengthened its outreach initiatives and enhanced public awareness about the significance of mithun, underscoring its potential to support the agricultural and rural economy of the North-East region.
