Under the intensive awareness campaign on balanced use of fertilizers conducted today by 8 KVKs in major DAP-consuming districts of Andhra Pradesh under ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone X, Hyderabad, a total of 2 awareness programs were organized by KVKs at Guntur and Prakasam, benefiting 82 farmers. Additionally, 2 demonstrations on Green Manuring and Bio-fertilizers were conducted.
A total of 82 farmers were reached through direct physical contact, while extensive outreach through social media platforms, particularly WhatsApp and Facebook, covered 38,602 farmers and stakeholders. Overall, the campaign achieved a cumulative outreach of 38,684 beneficiaries, effectively promoting awareness on balanced fertilizer use, green manuring, and sustainable nutrient management practices.
