A POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Awareness Programme was successfully organized today at ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad.
The programme featured informative sessions by distinguished speakers, including Smt. Bharathi Kalavagunta, Co-Founder, Treenetra Foundation, who delivered a talk on ‘Understanding Sexual Harassment and the POSH Act, 2013 – Legal Framework’, and Smt. Mooga Jayasree, CEO, Prakriti Environment Society, who spoke on ‘POSH Awareness: Promoting Safety and Equality at Work.’
The programme emphasized the importance of fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace, while enhancing awareness about employees’ rights and responsibilities under the POSH Act, 2013.
