ICAR- Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Dehradun organized a Kisan Ghosthi cum drone demonstration program at Fateau village of Ichhla gram panchayat, Kalsi block of Dehradun today under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) of the institute. Under this full day programme, in the beginning of the programme, Gram Pradhan Ichhla Sh. Ajab Singh Chauhan welcomed all the participants.

The Chief Guest, Dr. M. Madhu, Director, ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun inaugurated two multipurpose community halls which were build-up by financial and technical help by institute and people participatory mode of the villagers. He also highlighted the mandates of the institutes and briefed how farmers of this village may be benefitted through the TSP scheme. He educated the farmers regarding how to make their own brands for the sale of the crop produces directly to the consumers.
On this occasion, fertilizer spray through agriculture drone was also demonstrated.
The technical officers contributed their share to make this programme successful. Liquid fertilizer sprays were also distributed to the farmers. On the spot farmers agriculture related problems were solved by the experts.

About 120 participants (50 males + 70 females) including farmers of Ichhla, Fateu, Pata, and Smalta villages and officials of the ICAR-IISWC attended the programme. Innovative and progressive farmers namely Sh. Parveen Chauhan, Uday Chauhan and Jaipal Chauhan were also felicitated by the Director.
Local farmers attended the meeting and grabbed essential information from the programme.
