Based on the report dated 29.05.2026, under the Intensive Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers conducted across the Top 8 DAP-consuming districts of Andhra Pradesh, a total of 5 awareness programs were organized by participating KVKs, directly benefiting 129 farmers. In addition, 2 training programs were conducted covering 79 farmers.
A total of 53 farmers visited the KVKs and interacted with scientists and experts to obtain technical guidance on balanced fertilizer use and soil health management. The campaign facilitated direct physical outreach to 261 farmers through various extension activities. Extensive awareness was also generated through social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, X, and other digital channels, reaching 1,07,079 farmers and stakeholders.
Overall, the campaign achieved a cumulative outreach of 1,07,340 beneficiaries, significantly enhancing awareness on balanced fertilizer use, integrated nutrient management, soil health improvement, and sustainable agricultural practices across the targeted districts.

Based on the report dated 29.05.2026, under the Intensive Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers conducted by 72 KVKs under ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone X, Hyderabad, a total of 14 awareness programs were organized across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, benefiting 361 farmers. In addition, 23 Kisan Goshti/Field Days were conducted covering 29 farmers, while 5 training programs benefited 385 farmers.
The campaign also witnessed the participation of one MLA/MP, who communicated key messages on balanced fertilizer use and sustainable nutrient management to farmers. Further, 12 farmers participated in interface meetings and discussions, while 78 farmers visited KVKs and interacted with scientists and experts for technical guidance.
Demonstration activities included 5 Green Manuring demonstrations, 5 Bio-fertilizer demonstrations, and 2 demonstrations under other categories to promote balanced nutrient management practices. Through various extension activities, the campaign reached 879 farmers through direct physical contact.
In addition, extensive dissemination through WhatsApp, Facebook, X, and other social media platforms reached 62,290 farmers and stakeholders. Overall, the campaign achieved a cumulative outreach of 63,169 beneficiaries, significantly strengthening awareness on balanced fertilizer use, soil health management, and sustainable agricultural practices across the region.
