The intensive campaign on balanced use of fertilizers conducted on 03 May 2026 across 8 districts of Andhra Pradesh under ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone X, Hyderabad, involving 5 KVKs, effectively integrated field-level extension, capacity building, and digital outreach. A total of 5 awareness programs reached 316 farmers, while 3 training programs benefited 256 farmers, supported by stakeholder interactions covering 245 participants and a TV talk reaching 47 participants.
Digital dissemination significantly expanded outreach, achieving approximately 2.14 lakh farmers, complemented by 580 farmers covered through direct physical contact. Extension efforts included demonstrations on green manuring and biofertilizers, along with awareness activities such as wall paintings, poster displays, and expert talks, thereby strengthening awareness and promoting the adoption of balanced fertiliser practices across the region.
The intensive campaign on balanced use of fertilizers conducted on 03 May 2026 across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry under ICAR–ATARI Zone X, Hyderabad covered all 72 KVKs, effectively integrating field-level extension, capacity building, and digital outreach. A total of 6 awareness programs reached 359 farmers, while 4 training programs benefited 294 farmers, supported by stakeholder interactions covering 245 participants.
Digital dissemination was the key driver, achieving an outreach of approximately 2.22 lakh farmers, complemented by 661 farmers through direct physical contact. Extension efforts included demonstrations on green manuring and biofertilizers, along with awareness activities such as wall paintings, poster displays, and expert talks, thereby strengthening awareness and promoting the adoption of balanced fertiliser practices across the Zone.
