5 December 2025, Kochi
ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Kochi has entered into an agreement with GeeRAA Foods, Vaikom to provide technical know-how for the production of fish and chicken salad in frozen condition.
The agreement was formally signed on 3 December 2025 at ICAR-CIFT. Under the collaboration, ICAR-CIFT will act as a consultant and provide technical guidance, process know-how, and support for the development and production of fish and chicken salad in frozen condition.

GeeRAA Foods is founded by Dr. Geo A. G., Joint Director (retired) from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Kerala. This initiative is aimed at promoting value addition in the food processing industry and supporting entrepreneurs in developing safe and high-quality products with enhanced nutritional and commercial value.
This collaboration reflects ICAR-CIFT’s continued commitment to strengthening research–industry linkages while contributing to innovation and entrepreneurship in the fisheries and food processing sectors.
