The ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad in collaboration Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Deccan Development Society, Zaheerabad organized a Programme on “Awareness and Demonstration of Backyard Poultry” at Shamsllapur Village of Sanga Reddy District, Telangana under DAPSC Scheme today.

Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad apprised about the main aim of the programme organized as the Central Government’s initiative for doubling the farmers’ income and improving the livelihood of the rural women.

Around 50 Scheduled Caste Women were provided with 20 Backyard Poultry Birds, 20 Kgs Poultry Feed, 1 Feeder and 1 Waterer during the occasion.

The Programme registered participation by the Village Sarpanch, Staff Members of KVK and Farmers.
