Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, Reviews ICAR–DPR, Hyderabad

Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, IAS, Additional Secretary, DARE and Secretary, ICAR, visited the ICAR–Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad today. During his visit, Shri Tripathi inspected the Institute’s research facilities, visiting the Molecular Genetics, Poultry Nutrition, and Poultry Health laboratories. He interacted with scientists and researchers to review ongoing work in biotechnology, genomics, nutrition and health.

Dr R. N. Chatterjee, Director, welcomed the Secretary and summarized about the overall achievements of the Directorate.

In his address to the staff, Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi praised the Directorate for its role in strengthening rural poultry farming and food security. He highlighted the importance of practical, high-impact research, commercial technology transfer, and farmer-focused solutions to support the goals of Viksit Bharat. Following his address, he held an interactive discussion with the staff regarding future research roadmaps and administrative improvements.
