AgIn Strengthens ICAR’s Innovation and Industry Partnerships

Agrinnovate India Limited (AgIn) further strengthened its efforts to promote agricultural innovation and technology commercialisation during its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 71st Board Meeting, held today.

As part of the initiatives, AgIn committed ₹9.03 crore towards the development, scale-up, validation and commercialisation of seven ICAR technologies spanning key areas, including crop science, horticulture, aquaculture, animal health, biopesticides, biofertilizers and bioethanol.

AgIn also facilitated three CSR partnerships between ICAR and leading industry partners—Pidilite Industries Ltd., Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. and Everest Instruments Pvt. Ltd. The partnerships will support initiatives in sustainable agriculture, technology transfer, rural entrepreneurship, capacity building and other public-benefit areas.

The initiatives underscore AgIn’s role in mobilising investment and CSR resources, fostering public-private partnerships, and facilitating the translation of ICAR innovations into scalable solutions for agriculture and allied sectors.
