14 June 2026, Goa

World Blood Donor Day 2026 was observed worldwide today with the theme, “One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.” To mark the occasion, a pledge campaign was conducted to create awareness about the importance of voluntary and regular blood donation.

Blood donation is a simple yet life-saving act that supports patients requiring emergency care, surgeries, and treatment for various medical conditions. Reflecting the spirit of the theme, the Institute generally organizes a voluntary blood donation camp annually at its premises, with staff members wholeheartedly coming forward to donate blood voluntarily and support the community.

The observance served as a reminder that every donation can help save lives and contribute to a healthier and more compassionate society.

A total of 22 staff members actively participated by signing the pledge and committing themselves to support this noble cause.
