ICAR-NIVEDI Secures Prestigious STQC Website Quality Certification

ICAR-National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics, Bengaluru, has been awarded the STQC Website Quality Certification under the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0 by the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.

The certification confirms that the Institute’s official website complies with national standards for accessibility, security, performance, and content governance.

The approval (No. STQC/CQW/2025/37), issued on 16 February 2026 and valid up to 15 February 2029, followed a rigorous multi-stage evaluation, including detailed technical compliance review and an onsite audit of the Institute’s IT and security infrastructure.

Dr. Baldev R. Gulati, Director, ICAR-NIVEDI, congratulated the ICT Team led by Dr. K. P. Suresh for maintaining high standards of digital governance and ensuring secure, reliable, and citizen-centric online services. Notably, ICAR-NIVEDI is the first Institute in the Animal Science Division of ICAR to receive this certification, setting a benchmark for quality and compliance in digital platforms across the ICAR system.
