Stakeholder Meeting on Quality Seed Potato Production through Farmer Participation Organised

A stakeholder meeting on ‘Quality Seed Potato Production through Farmer Participation’ was successfully organized at the ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute Regional Station, Modipuram today. The program served as a dynamic platform for farmers to engage with experts and exchange ideas on enhancing seed potato production at the field level.

On this occasion, Dr. Brajesh Singh, Director, ICAR-CPRI RS and Head of the Social Sciences Division, Dr. Alok Kumar, interacted directly with the farmers, addressing their queries and sharing valuable insights.

Farmers actively contributed by sharing their practical experiences and suggestions and expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Director for his encouragement and guidance.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to strengthen farmer-led initiatives for sustainable seed potato production.

The event brought together nearly 65 progressive farmers from various districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Aligarh, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Meerut, Kannauj, Firozabad, Kanpur and others.
