ICAR’s ‘Vision-2030 ’Unveiled by Agriculture Minister

Union Minister for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries today unveiled Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) ‘Vision-2030’ document during 82nd Annual General Meeting of the ICAR Society. The present document, ICAR Vision 2030, articulates the strategies to overcome the challenges and tap the opportunities by harnessing the power of science and undertaking boundary less partnership with different stakeholders in food supply chain at national and international level.

To accomplish the vision and the mission, the ICAR gives highest priority to farmers, and entire strategy is based on ‘farmer first’. It is determined to continuously strive hard to transform the existing National Agricultural Research System into a vibrant National Agricultural Innovation Systems, elaborates document.
