Virtual Training Programme on “Integrated Nutrient Management” organized

The 3-day Virtual Training on “Integrated Nutrient Management” jointly organized by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and State Institute of Agricultural Extension & Training (SIAET), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 5th to 7th January, 2021 concluded today.
Dr. Ashok K. Patra, Director, ICAR-IISS, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and Shri G.P. Prajapati, Director, SIAET, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh virtually interacted with the participants during the programme during the valedictory session of the programme.
Dr. Patra highlighted the significance, scope and importance of Integrated Nutrient Management from soil and human health point of view.
The importance of Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), role and dynamics of soil nutrients, residue management, micro-nutrients and their management, INM in long-term fertilizer experiments, uses of bio-fertilizers, INM in problem soils, ITK under organic farming, etc., discussed during the programme.
A total of 30 State Government Officials from different parts of Madhya Pradesh virtually participated in the programme.
