Sh. S.S. Ahluwalia, Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare and Parliamentary Affairs visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kangra and chaired a Kisan Goshthi.

A series of awareness camps on soil health and benefits of central sector agriculture schemes in the agriculturally underdeveloped western part of erstwhile Burdwan, now Paschim Bardhaman were organised by KVK, Purba Bardhaman from 24th April to 27th April, 2017.

One day ex-trainee Sammelan cum farmer scientist interaction was held at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, R.S. Pura, Jammu. Dr. A. K. Singh, Deputy Director General (Extension) ICAR was the chief guest on the occasion in which more than 300 trainees participated.

Dhanya Mahotsav 2017 (Food Grain Festival) (7-9th April 2017) was inaugurated by Smt Pornima Taware, Mayor, Baramati Municipal Corporation and Dr. Lakhan Singh, Director, Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute today. The event was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati.
