28-30 December 2017, Jammu

A three-day Annual Zonal Workshop to review activities of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Zone-I was organised by ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana during 28-30 December 2017 at SKUAST, Jammu (J&K). The workshop was aimed at reviewing the work done by 74 KVKs and 6 ATICs of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand.

Two-day State Level Mid Term Planning Workshop (2018-19) for KVKs of Rajasthan organised by ICAR-ATARI, Jodhpur was inaugurated at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur.

Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh inaugurated the Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Govindnagar, Bankhedi Tehsil, district Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh today. Chief Minister insisted for low input agriculture specially with more emphasis on more crop per drop and organic agriculture. Addressing the gathering of small and marginal farmers Shri Chauhan urged to adopt crop diversification for food and fodder besides soil health management.
