ICAR Inter Institutional Sports Meet (West Zone) Inaugurated

Shri Anand Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, Bikaner inaugurated the ICAR Inter Institutional Sports Meet (West Zone) at Dr. Karni Singh Stadium today. While congratulating all the participants, Shri Kumar said that participation in sports activities relives stress encountered in working and enhances the working efficiency of an individual. He also said that morepeople participation in sports is essential as it increases the fitness

In his presidential address, Dr. N.V. Patil, Director, NRCC, Bikaner said that ICAR organizes the sports meet in order to bring team spirit among the Staff of ICAR. He also congratulated all the participants.

Earlier, Dr. Raghvendra Singh, Principal Scientist, NRC on Camel, Bikaner and Organizing Secretary, ICAR Inter Institutional Sports Meet 2013 welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the various sports contingent participating in this event.  He conveyed best wishes to all the contingents. 

Total 675 participants across 19 ICAR institutes in the west zone are being participated in the meet. Dr. S.K. Sharma, Director, Central Institute for Arid Horticulture, Bikaner, Chief De-missions of ICAR sister organization and participants from ICAR sister organization of west zone, Staff of NRC Camel were also present on the occasion.

Dr. S.C. Mehta, Principal Scientist, NRC on Camel, Bikaner proposed the vote of thanks.
