ICAR Sponsored 21 Days Winter School training on ‘Next Generation Nutrition and Reproductive Technologies for Augmenting Fertility and Productivity in Livestock’ from 7 - 27 January 2026 was inaugurated today organized by ICAR- National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru. This training program is mainly focused on multidisciplinary approaches for augmenting fertility and productivity in livestock with special references to nutrition and reproduction areas.

The Chief Guest, Prof (Dr). M. Gnana Prakash, Vice-Chancellor, PVNRTVU Hyderabad addressed the gathering and emphasized the need of the courses for educating the mid carrier academician and researchers.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Praveen Malik, Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Gov. of India & CEO, Agriinnovate, ICAR, New Delhi, stressed the importance of nutrition and reproduction subject for enhancing productivity of Indian cattle to improve the milk production.
Dr. Artabhandu Sahoo, Director, ICAR-NIANP welcomed all the dignitaries and briefed about the achievements and ongoing activities of the activities.
During this program there was Exchange of TLA of two ICAR NIANP technologies, Harit Dhara with M/s Dayal Vet Foods Pvt. Ltd., U.P. and Trans Care-Goat with M/s Hornet Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. Tamil Nadu. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. DT Pal, Co-course Director.

Twenty-one candidates from State Agricultural Universities and ICAR Institutes will be attending in the winter school program from ten states of the country.
