Shri Mansukhbhai Mandaviya Reviews the KVK, Rajkot

Union Minister of State for Road, Transpoart and Highways, Chemical and Fertilizers Shri Mansukhbhai Mandaviya visited and reviewed the KVK Rajkot-I in Gujarat today. The Minister critically observed the available infrastructure facilities, plant health clinic, museum, soil testing lab, crop cafeteria, instructional farm, vermi compost unit and water harvesting structure. He also interacted with farmers and entrepreneurs at the centre.

Shri Mandaviya emphasised on doubling farmers’ income by adopting post harvest technologies, farm mechanization, in-situ moisture conservation and creating small farm enterprises.   

He was briefed about the activities carried over for benefiting the farmers in the villages by the KVK.

At this occasion, Shri Govindbhai Patel, MLA, Rajkot was also present.
