ICAR-NRCG organises Capacity Building programme

13th – 15th February 2024, Pune

ICAR- National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune in collaboration with FSSAI and APEDA organized a 3-day capacity-building programme from 13th - 15th February 2024.

The programme was presided by Dr. Kaushik Banerjee, Director, ICAR-NRCG

The event highlighted the importance of establishing green laboratories for various analyses and the need for harmonizing sampling protocols for food items to improve residue testing quality. A statistical model-based field training was organised, where 34 participants from 23 laboratories visited ICAR-NRCG's vineyard to learn random sampling procedures.

116 participants from different Government and private organizations all over the country participated in these programmes.
