ICAR-CCARI, Goa organizes Orientation Programme for Swayampurna Mitras in Agriculture

ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa and ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, North Goa, organized one-day ‘Orientation Programme for Swayampurna Mitras in Agriculture’ for North Goa

Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR-CCARI in his address elaborated the achievement of Indian agriculture in last 70 years. He further highlighted the major problems in Goan agriculture and suggested measures to mitigate it. He also, urged the Swayampurna Mitras to contribute towards making Goa self-reliant in agriculture.

Dr. Kalias Gokhale, Statistical Officer, Directorate of Planning Statistic & Evaluation, Govt. of Goa briefed about Swayampurna Goa 2.0 programme and how to achieve it.

Mrs. Sunetra Talaulikar, Senior Scientist cum Head (I/c), ICAR- KVK North Goa welcomed the guest and apprised about the programme in brief. The technical session had presentation by section in-charges of ICAR- CCARI and KVK North Goa.
