“Review Meeting of 3 Network Projects” organized

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra organized the Review Meeting of 3 Network Projects - “Impact Assessment of Selected Interventions by KVK under Doubling Farmers’ Income for Enhancing Farmers’ Income”, “Assessing Dietary Diversity Consumption Pattern and Nutritional Security in Nutri-Smart Villages - As A Step Towards Vocal to Local” and “Network Project on Analysis of Agricultural Programmes conducted in Aspiration Districts in India” from 18^th to 19^th July, 2022. The Meeting was organized at the ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone - II, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Dr. S.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone - II, Jodhpur stressed on the improvement of the KVKs’ performances, proper budget utilization and ethics of the Network Research Projects, On-Farm Trials, Front Line Demonstrations and Trainings, etc. Dr. Singh urged the KVKs to make close contacts with the farmers to establish the real partnerships with them so that KVKs association in the forms of cooperation, collaboration and contribution could be properly reflected in terms of visibility of KVK’s Programmes at the farmers’ fields.

Dr. R.A. Kaushik, Director of Extension Education, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan emphasized on improving the work efficiency at the KVKs and farmers' fields even in resource-poor situations by KVK Professionals.

A total of 60 participants including the Resource Persons from ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana, Patna, Jabalpur, Jodhpur and KVKs Professions from Rajasthan, Haryana Delhi & Jharkhand attended the Meeting.
