The tenth edition of the national business fest Sankalp 10.0 concluded successfully at ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, today. Organized during 27–28 September, the event witnessed an overwhelming response with 13,759 registrations from 1,867 institutions across India, competing in ten business challenges. Seventy finalists reached the campus for the final round.
The inaugural session was presided over by Dr. Gopal Lal, Director, ICAR-NAARM, with Shri Ch. Srinivasa, Director, ICAR-IARI & Executive Director, National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Apparao Veldi, HR Business Partner, Advanta Enterprises Limited, as Guest of Honour. They shared valuable insights on innovation, leadership, and the role of youth-driven initiatives in shaping the future of Indian agriculture.

Students from premier institutions including IIMs, NITs, IRMA, and MANAGE bagged cash awards across the competitions.
During the valedictory programme, Dr. Bijay Kumar Behera, Chief Executive, NFDB, Hyderabad, distributed prizes to the winners. In his address, he urged graduates to become job creators, highlighting Government of India schemes in the fisheries sector to support budding entrepreneurs. He emphasized that the future lies in the ability to innovate and build sustainable enterprises.
