Webshop on “Fodder Resources Development Plan for Gujarat” organized

The ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh in association with the Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat organized the Webshop on “Fodder Resources Development Plan for Gujarat” today.

Dr. K.B. Kathiria, Vice-Chancellor, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat urged for more adoption of the improved and high yielding fodder crop varieties and ensuring the availability of seed of these varieties.
Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh highlighted the important research activities carried out by the Institute with particular reference to the agro-climate of Gujarat.
The Webshop registered participation by 77 Officials of the State Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services; Department of Agriculture; Heads of Krishi Vigyan Kendras; Scientists from ICAR Institutes located in Gujarat; National Dairy Development Board and AMUL, etc.
