ICAR-DMAPR Receives Best Stall Award at Samridh Gujarat 2025 Exhibition

The ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research (ICAR-DMAPR), Anand, was conferred the prestigious “Best Stall Award” at the Samridh Gujarat 2025 exhibition, held from 3rd to 5th July in Ahmedabad. The award recognises the institute’s exemplary efforts in scientific outreach and its significant contributions to the promotion of sustainable agriculture through medicinal and aromatic plants.

Organised by the SANSA Foundation, Ahmedabad, Samridh Gujarat 2025 aimed to highlight the innovative and impactful initiatives of various institutions in the fields of agriculture, industry, and rural development, aligning with the state’s vision for holistic growth.

ICAR-DMAPR Receives Best Stall Award at Samridh Gujarat 2025 Exhibition

ICAR-DMAPR’s exhibition stall attracted widespread attention, drawing over 4,000 visitors including farmers, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers over the three-day event. The stall showcased a diverse collection of live plant specimens of medicinal and aromatic crops such as Ashwagandha, Lemongrass, Palmarosa, Brahmi, and Senna, alongside a curated display of value-added herbal products developed by the institute.

Additionally, a series of informative posters, charts, and samples of herbal formulations offered insights into the institute’s research and innovations, fostering engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.

The award underscores ICAR-DMAPR’s continuing role in advancing the use of medicinal and aromatic plants for sustainable agriculture and rural development.
