The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized the “Stakeholders’ Training and Demonstration of Farm Implements under SC-Sub-Plan Programme under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan Programme” today.
In his address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad emphasized on the importance of the Sub-Plan Scheme and its implementation by the Institute. He also urged the farmers for utilizing the distributed materials in an effective manner to improve their income and livelihood.

Shri Hukya Naik, Project Director (ATMA), Mahabubnagar District, Telangana stressed on the importance of market linkages to get better price for the farm products.
The Academy distributed the Farm Implements like Farm Hand Tool Kits, Power Sprayers, Grain Storage Bins and Tarpaulin Covers to 52 Scheduled Caste Farmers of the adopted Village, Agraharam Potlapally of Rajapur Mandal in Mahabubnagar District of Telangana State.
The various other materials like Bush cutters, Computers, Multi-Function Printers, UPS, Computer Tables, Computer Chairs, Almirahs, Book Racks, Plastic Chairs and Tables were handed over to the the Village Panchayat in the presence of Panchayat Secretary, Sarpanch, Agriculture Officer and Project Director (ATMA), Mahabubnagar District during the occasion.
A Village Custom Hiring Centre was also inaugurated as the Village Knowledge Centre Facility to strengthen the awareness and educate the beneficiary members of the village on the various agriculture and livelihood activities and government programmes.
