To celebrate the National Nutrition Week (celebrated from 1st to 7th September every Year), the ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in association with the Nutrition Society of India, Bhopal Chapter organized a National Webinar today.

Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab outlined the role of food processing in improving nutrition. He highlighted the technologies and useful equipments for food processing developed by the ICAR-CIAE, Bhopal and ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana.
In her talk, Dr. Meenakshi Bakshi Mehan, Head, Food and Nutrition Department, MS University, Baroda, Maharashtra emphasized on the key issues related to nutrition in the country. She urged the nutrition fraternity to work together for the eradication of malnutrition.
More than 500 participants participated in the Webinar.
