Webinar on Artificial Intelligence for Smart Agriculture @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna, Bihar organized a Webinar on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Smart Agriculture” today.

In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR stressed on the use of new technologies for precision agriculture, practical implication and recent concept of AI. The DDG also outlined the dimensions of smart agriculture.

Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. Ujjwal Kumar, Director, ICAR-RCER, Patna, Bihar briefed about the technical programme.

The talks on “Sensing and Data Analysis for Smart Agriculture”“Application of AI in Agricultural Data Analysis” and “Robotics in Agriculture: An Indian Perspective” were delivered during the Webinar.

The Webinar was aimed at creating awareness and update the knowledge of scientists, faculties, students and stakeholders on the use of AI in the agricultural sector.

Around 300 participants virtually participated in the Webinar.

The Webinar was organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
