9th – 10th November 2022, Nagpur
ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, organized three- day training program on “Production Technology of Citrus” for Agricultural Extension Officers of Central and Southern Tibetan Settlements of India during 09th - 11th November, 2022.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI and Course Director briefed about the current scenario of citrus industry in India and highlighted the need for agricultural extension professionals to disseminate the scientific technologies to citrus growers of their respective region.
A training manual was also released during the inaugural program.
The technical sessions included various aspects on citrus cultivation.
Off-campus exposure visits to scientifically managed citrus orchard of progressive farmers Shri Prashant Shelke and Shri Akhil Junghare of Nagpur district were also organized.
