“Start-Up Cohort Networking and Capacity Building Programme for Incubatees of a-IDEA” concludes

The “Start-Up Cohort Networking and Capacity Building Programme for Incubatees of a-IDEA” organized by the a-IDEA of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad under the NIDHI PRAYAS, BIRAC BIG, ABI & Krishiboot from 22nd to 23rd July, 2022 concluded today.

Delivering his valedictory address, Dr. Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman, Capacity Building Commissionurged the Start-Ups to solve the realtime problems of the stakeholders. The role of investors & venture capitalists in supporting the Start-Ups was also highlighted by him.

Earlier, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, President, a-IDEA & Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad underlined the role of ICAR in nurturing the agri-ecosystem, bringing customized solutions to the problems in agriculture, FPOs & FPCs and sensitizing Agri-Students to have their unique ideas for establishing the Agri-preneurship.

Dr. Hemang Jani, Secretary, Capacity Building Commission (CBC) urged the Start-Ups to get financed and benefitted by the Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India.

Shri Tapan Kumar Sahoo,, AGM, NABARD outlined the role of NABARD in promoting the FPOs.

Dr. G. Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director & Vice-President, a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted the Start-Up initiatives by the Government of India.

Dr. Senthil Vinayagam, C.E.O. and the Staff Members of a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad were also present during the occasion.

The Programme was aimed at developing networking among the Start-Ups and train them on the financial management, effective pitch making, patent filing and concept of digital marketing & branding, etc.
