A Sensitization Workshop on “Incubation and Business Development” was organized at the ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Research, Anand, Gujarat here today.
The Workshop was aimed at apprising the participants about the Agri-Business Incubation and Business Development under the National Agriculture Innovation Fund (NAIF) Project.
Delivering his address as the Chief Guest, Dr. B.K. Pandey, ADG (Horticultural Science), ICAR highlighted the importance of Market Intelligence on the technologies to accelerate the business development. The development of impactable technologies in the Medicinal & Aromatic Plants for the Incubation and Enterprise development was also accentuated by Dr. Pandey.
Dr. Satyanshu Kumar, Director, ICAR-DMAPR, Anand, Gujarat outlined the various technologies and facilities available in the Directorate for Incubation and Business development. Dr. Kumar opined that the Technology Incubation can accelerate business development in the herbal sector.
