The ICAR Winter School on “Recent Advances in Nutritional Technologies for Doubling the Farmers’ Income under Changing Climate Scenario” organized by the ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 22nd February to 14th March, 2022 concluded today.
Dr. K.T. Sampath, Former Director, ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, Karnataka marked his presence as the Chief Guest of the valedictory ceremony. Delivering his address, Dr. Sampath regarded the ICAR Winter School’s Theme to be pertinent in the changing climate scenario.
Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Director, ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru also deliberated during the event.
The various nutritional technologies which aid in enhancing the farmers’ income like limiting nutrient supplements & nutritional strategies for better production, reproduction, health & immunity, feed resource assessment & current feed evaluation techniques, micro-nutrients and formulation of mineral mixtures, etc., were discussed during the programme.
A total of 25 participants from 10 States participated in the ICAR Winter School.
