Skill Development Programme on “Integrated Fish Farming” concludes

The Skill Development Programme on “Integrated Fish Farming” organized by the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre at Suripara, Alipurduar, 1 Block, Alipurduar, West Bengal from 12th March to 14th March, 2022 concluded today.

Dr. Ravishankar C.N., Director & Vice-Chancellor, ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai and Dr. G.H. Pailan, Principal Scientist & Officer-in-Charge, ICAR-CIFE, Kolkata Centre initiated the programme.

Dr. Sujata Sahoo, Senior Scientist, ICAR- underlined the main objective of the programme. The different aspects of integrated fish farming systems were highlighted by Dr. Sahoo.

The trainees were provided with the inputs like Lime, Floating Feed, pH and Water Testing Kits to acquaint them with the modern farming systems.

The Training Programme was organized under the Tribal Sub Plan for 50 Fish Farmers.
