The three-day Training Programme on “Entrepreneurial Skill Development for Agricultural Graduate Students for the Students of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, West Bengal” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 11th to 13th March, 2022 concluded today.


Delivering the Valedictory address, Prof. B.S. Mahapatra, Vice-Chancellor, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Mohanpur, West Bengal urged the participants to become a Job provider instead of becoming a job seeker by establishing the different Entrepreneurs.
Earlier, in his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad apprised the participants about their roles in the nation building, He also sensitized them for higher education besides encouraging for pursuing the higher education.
The Guest of Honor, of the inaugural ceremony, Prof. Subhendu Bikash Gaswami, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, BCKV, West Bengal urged the students to utilize the knowledge gained during the training to help them pursue their future career avenues.
The programme was aimed at promoting and nurturing the Entrepreneurship abilities in the students and also equipping them with the management and communication tools needed for making successful Entrepreneurs.
A total of 100 Students participated in the programme.
