The four-day Training Programme on “Organic Vegetable Cultivation for Progressive Farmers of Madhepura, Bihar” organized by the ICAR-Research Complex for North-Eastern Hill Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Gangtok from 1st to 4th March, 2022 concluded today.
The programme was organized in collaboration with the ATMA, Madhepura, Government of Bihar
Dr. Ramgopal Laha, Joint Director, ICAR-Research Complex for North-Eastern Hill Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim stressed on the need of adopting the need-based integrated organic farming system.
Dr. Saurav Saha, Scientist (Agricultural Physics), delivered a Talk on “Integrated Weather-based Agro-Advisory Services for increasing Farming Resiliency in Sikkim”.
The participants were apprised about the ongoing research, demonstration and development activities.
The team of 21 Progressive Farmers participated and equipped with the recent advances in the organic vegetable production techniques.
