National Webinar on “Banana based Integrated Cropping and Farming System Models for doubling the farmers’ income” organized

The ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu organized a National Webinar on “Integrated Farming System (I.F.S.)” today.

Dr. N. Ravisankar, Principal Scientist & Project Coordinator, All India Coordinated Research Project on I.F.S., Coordination Unit, ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh delivered a Talk on “Sustainable Integrated Cropping and Farming System Models with Special Reference to Banana for Enhanced Income of Farmers”.

Earlier, in her address, Dr. S. Uma, Director, ICAR-NRC on Banana, Tiruchirappalli highlighted the importance of Banana based Integrated Farming System for doubling the farmers’ income.

The Webinar organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75th Year of India’s Independence registered a total participation by 1,000 participants.
